Gua Sha massage is a great instant facelift! This traditional Chinese technique involves massaging the skin with a smooth instrument - in this case a Bian stone - to stimulate circulation and flush out toxins. A pillar of oriental medicine, the origin of Gua Sha goes back centuries. Ancient texts mention sharp stone objects used to treat aches and pains by acupressure. These stone needles which predate acupuncture were generally made from Bian Shi stones, also known as bian stones or stone needles. Idoine offers you a 4-in-1 tool with the Bian stone Gua Sha spoon. The round end of the spoon is used to massage the face and apply the mask, while the other end is designed to perform pressure points. The design of the spoon also allows you to mix the clay and water and, most importantly, to collect the entire contents of the jar. We thought of everything!

Gua Sha Massage With The Bian Stone
The Gua Sha massage therapy gives immediate anti-ageing results, a luminous complexion and a lifted, sculpted skin, full of vitality. Massaging your face activates blood circulation and helps to drain toxins stored under the layers of the skin. The elasticity of the skin is improved and the appearance of wrinkles, bags and dark circles is reduced. The Bian stone comes into its own with its unique properties. When used to massage, the Bian stone emits ultrasounds that activate the blood circulation, thus helping to regenerate the tissues and clear up problem areas. Between meditation and beauty care, a Gua Sha massage is also a Zen moment to counter stress and stiffness of the neck, jaw and face.

How To Use

The Gua Sha spoon massage is done on clean skin, ideally after a Manicouagan clay mask. Day or night, here are the 3 steps of our routine:

  1. Relax by breathing deeply (through the nose is better!)
  2. Put a drop of Moringa or Rosehip oil on the spoon
  3. Massage your neck and face (see video here)

Don't forget to drink plenty of water to keep your skin healthy and hydrated.
