As part of the “Digital Skills for Young People” Program, coordinated by communautique, Idoine is looking for a position to fill.
Idoine is a Montreal company making organic, vegan skincare products based on moringa oil and therapeutic essential oils. Our mission is to offer high-performance, natural and ethical cosmetic products while reducing our ecological footprint. Human beings are completely out of place and the digital age is leading the conventional cosmetics industry to have to reinvent itself to develop a personalized and local experience.

Role and responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the president, the developer must ensure that the web platform reflects customer advice and a human experience. The desired collaborator is a motivated, curious and organized person whose subject of the environment is close to their heart.
Responsibilities:
- Optimization of the Shopify web platform: theme, navigation, store, product creation, video implementation, etc.
- Optimizing the choice of Shopify applications
- Optimization of Klaviyo, Shopify and related automations
- Participate in the design, development and evolution of our web applications
- Collaborate with the web development team as well as the product management team
Professional skills sought:
- BAC in web marketing or other related discipline
- Organizational skills and great autonomy
- Interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while respecting deadlines
- Good writing and communication skills
- Rigor and precision
- Initiative and good judgment
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
The intern must meet the eligibility criteria below:
- Be between 15 and 30 years old at the start of the internship
- Have completed post-secondary studies
- Have the legal right to work in Canada
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
- Not receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits during the internship
- Self-assess as underemployed, i.e. unemployed,
- employed below their education level or in part-time employment
- Have not already completed an internship as part of the digital skills program for young people.
Internship conditions:
Number of hours per week: 30 hours
Duration: 12 weeks
Salary: $20/hour
