What are tonics?
In our usual facial care routine, we cleanse, exfoliate, then moisturize our skin without thinking about toning it. Toners are, however, an essential element to fortify our skin and thus keep it healthy.
Their composition
Some toners are water-based. Idoine toners, on the other hand, are entirely made from carefully selected hydrosols. They thus provide undeniable benefits for mature, combination, and sensitive skin:
The Damask Rose and Labrador Tea hydrosols contained in the anti-wrinkle toner have anti-aging properties.
The Orange Blossom and Rosemary Verbenone hydrosols contained in the combination skin toner help tighten skin pores.
The Official Lavender and Roman Chamomile hydrosols contained in the sensitive skin toner strengthen fragile skin.
Their usefulness
The chlorine and minerals present in tap water are substances that can dry out the skin. It is essential to prevent them from penetrating the epidermis. Idoine toners are thus an excellent barrier that prevents dehydration of the upper layer of the epidermis.
The hydrosols present in our toners restore the skin's protective mechanism, making it less sensitive to external aggressions. They maximize the effect of the different ingredients contained in our creams and serum, thus allowing you to save a certain amount of product.
Furthermore, if you use a facial cleanser with a high pH, using a toner after rinsing your skin will help rebalance its natural pH.
These are good reasons to now tone and moisturize your skin morning and evening.
