Article: Being a Woman. Being a Mother. Being an Entrepreneur.

Being a Woman. Being a Mother. Being an Entrepreneur.

On this International Women’s Day, I am taking a moment to reflect.

I am a privileged woman.
I live in Quebec.
I run my own company.
I can make decisions, sign contracts, create, and express myself freely.

And I am also a mother.

When I look at my child, I often think about the future I want to leave behind. A world where equality is not a constant battle. A world where women’s rights are not fragile or negotiable.

My entrepreneurial journey has not always been simple. Launching and growing a business as a woman and a mother requires energy, resilience, and deep conviction. But I have had access to education, funding, a network, and a safe environment. These are immense privileges.

Around the world, women are still fighting for fundamental rights: access to education, the freedom to work, bodily autonomy, and the right to live free from violence.

At Idoine, women are at the heart of our DNA.
Our products are designed by women, for women. But beyond our formulations, we aim to contribute to something greater: supporting causes that foster autonomy, encouraging economic independence, and creating meaningful impact.

For me, being privileged means having a responsibility.

The responsibility to use my voice.
The responsibility to build a company that gives back.
The responsibility to contribute, in my own way, to a more equitable world.

Women’s rights are never permanently secured.
They must be protected. Defended. Passed on.

And for our daughters and our sons, the work continues.
